Do you want to go really fast on a mushy wave Get an Ellis. These things are super floaty and create amazing paddle speed for those small days at your local break. Quad setup makes the board turn quick like a twin fin but doesn’t sacrafice the speed or drive. The wings give it extra quickness in turning which is great for performance. I got a quad three years ago and havn’t gone back. Its almost like cheating – the way this thing performs. I ride mine 3-5 inches shorter than my average shortboard. Try it out!
