Lost Gullwing 6'0 Surfboard

“Not a Round Nose Fish and Not a Rocket” …but something in between. Radically redesigned for ’09 – it features a flat deck – steep rails – wide nose and centered wide point. Concave bottom through the guts of the board with a volume neutralizing spiral vee behind the fins creates speed and control simultaneously. The tail is a winged “Gull” tail – allowing more water release in turns and gives control at high speeds which gives it a faster – flatter rocker that still turns easily. More nose rocker than the Rocket with a drivier tail rocker – this board feels great for guys who really push hard with the back foot and carve small boards. This board has everything you need to compete with crowds and modest waves. Comes standard with five FCS fin plugs and can be ridden as a thruster – quad or even five finner. Tested thoroughly at overcrowded – mushy Trestles by overweight guys with great success. Ride 4 – 6 in. shorter than a typical shortboard.

The new addition too the in.Rocket in. family. Features an Aaron Cormican inspired – “Grocket” winged mini-swallow tail. This tail increases control for lighter snappier surfers and also lends itself well to surfers who prefer to ride the board a bit longer (2-4 in. shorter than their normal boards) as it shortens the rail line and turning arc. This board actually has as much tail rocker as any board in Lost’s line. Coupled with a deep concave throughout – via a straightened stringer line – the board is a small to average wave all-rounder. This thing has to be ridden to be believed…

The world’s all-time best selling fish model. During the filming of 5’5 in. REDUX – the RNF and RNF Quad were radically redesigned. After working with and watching so many team riders using these boards over the last year – changes were bound to happen. The nose has gotten wider again – and more conservative overall rocker and less concave make for a board that will hold speed in flats and produce harder – longer carves. A longer – less pronounced – vee in the tail gives a more predictable feel out of turns – and a straighter outline adds drive and hold. The deep wing – influenced by MR’s vintage twin fins – adds more control of high speeds and better bite in snaps and out of carves. It still paddles great – still makes you look good – but the updates allow harder – more powerful carving turns and a wider range of performance in more varied surf. Enjoy playing with a multitude of fin setups. The RNF is designed as a twin with rear trailer – but works great as a pure twin fin or try all three standard thrusters for different feels in different conditions. Like a semi gun …Everyone should own one.
