First, They are real surfboards with a softer surface, but not super soft, to make it user friendly but they look just like a fiberglass surfboard. Most beginners and kids surfboards are very poorly shaped. This effects the way they perform in the surf, making them hard to turn. Surfing is ALL about maneuvering and turning on the waves. A poorly shaped surfboard can’t turn well.
Second, All original Liquid Shredders have full length solid Peruvian hard wood stringers for strength. Surfboards should be rigid and not flex too much. Many of the old technology “sponge” beginner surfboards and kids surfboards bend in the middle as the rider moves on them. This slows the surfboard and makes for an unstable platform for the rider to stand on. NEVER buy a surf board without a wooden stringer system. Surfboards with weak stringers break easily, even in small surf.

This new high quality foamboard by Greco Surfboards is one of the leaders in foamboard innovation. Its been used by top rated surf schools and proven to be effective for learning and advancing. This board includes a number of different new technologies. Nothing on the entire board is glued! Everything is put tightly together by a new heated sealed system. Everything’s welded shut, which decreases chances of water logging and breaking and increases chances of longevity. Also it has a triple stringer. Where most foamboards only have one or two weak wooden stringers inside the construction of the board, ours includes three for extra support and stability. These boards are built to last as we have technologically designed them to. We didnt just upgrade the board with all sorts of high quality materials and leave the rider hanging with sub par fins and leash so we worked with a new team of proven manufactures that are the leaders in this industry. Also we upgraded our leash to match those that fiberglass surfboards use for extra strength. Instead of a low quality cheap leash you now receive the upgraded fins and leash as well. The boards dimensions are 8′ x 3 1/4″ x 23 2/3″. You can tell by its measurements that we didn’t try and save money by using less foam.
