This board was custom shaped for Mark Matthews. Mark is an Australian charger who has become quite the name recently with some heavy rides and big results at Pipe as well as at home in Australia. Me being 140lb’s (or whatever that would be in grams?) am a bit smaller of a guy than Mark. So I would imagine this board was to thin for him – because it felt insane under my arm! It is a bit of a step-up design – definetly designed for some decent sized hollow surf. With a single concave and sufficient rocker – this board will generate speed and still maintain maximum manueverability.
